It’s been a warm autumn here in California, so my favorite way to cool down and recover from a workout is still with a smoothie. With the change in seasons, I love to get creative with my smoothie recipes and put a holiday spin on them. If you read my last post you also know I’m trying to lose (not gain) weight during the holidays and one of the ways I plan to accomplish this is by creating healthy alternatives to my favorite holiday treats. - 2 large red apples (I used fuji), cored
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
